I broke the remote control port from my D800 years ago. For D850, I wanted a cable relief to keep my ports intact. For the GFX-50s, I wanted something similar too. It has the battery compartment in a weird place, and the only L-plate I could find that allows easy battery change was Arca-Swiss Classic L-Bracket. Luckily it has 1/4″ thread in its vertical arm. I thought that I use it to attach the 3D printed part to fix the cables well to the camera. If those cables break when I accidentally yank my camera, they are much cheaper to replace than the ports in the camera.
