Shortening studio stand

I was looking to take a photo from a longer distance and our bedroom door provides the perfect line of sight against the grey background. However, the height of my studio stand was an issue when getting through the doorway. While hand-held photography is an option, I wanted to use stand in this situation too. With the help of an angle grinder, I trimmed 20cm off the height of the stand, not only reducing its height but also giving it a more proportionate and not so comically massive look while still providing ample height for all of my photography needs.

Quick fix for the pole
Yes it really fits from those doorways now
Bedroom gives me a lot more space to shoot if I need to get out of the normal portrait distances.
