While I often shoot self-portraits, this time I was simply in front of the camera. Merja needed a model for her flower hair and beard concept, and I was glad to take part. Kiki did the makeup and attached the flowers. It’s always interesting to experience a shoot from the other side — a different kind of learning. I especially like the “Flowers Soldier” image; I think it turned out great, and it was selected as a One Eyeland Picture of the Day.
